Bet you didn't know either...

The opposite of nocturnal is diurnal. I did not know this. One of the kids mentioned the other night that you never see squirrels at night and it occurred to me that when something is active at night you call it nocturnal but when something is active in the daytime, you don't really give it a name. I decided to look it up. It is diurnal. Sounds like a colorful place to urinate.
