I got Lance's initials in hieroglyphics a few years ago. These are Chad's initials in a sistrum, which is an Egyptian musical instrument. Thanks to Capi for bringing my idea to life and thanks to Valentin for his talent and for taking the time to make it 'exactly' as it should be! I am leaving for Mexico in less than 24 hours. Quick stop here in the city to gather my travel gear. Fireworks sales went great this year. Thanks to Chad and Kris for all of the help. Nothing out of the ordinary to report about the last 3 weeks. Chad and Jennifer both fell on their asses. You can't buy comedy like that. Chad slipped while rocking the van full of kids and Jennifer broke the branch for the fire, along with her ass.

Needless to say, I've got lots to do before 6am.... 12 days in the ocean..... ahhhhh.

I will be leaving early for the lake. I am gonna get out of here sometime this weekend. I won't have a computer but will have the lake cell phone. Super Glue Is Your Friend

I made it through the Nails\Jane show with no problem. Well, no problem except that I felt like an old lady seeing Jane for the 5th time, with the first time being almost 20 years ago!
Chad and I will be showing that super glue who is boss again tonight. Days of the New is at Power and Light. Free promo show at KC Live. Maybe if Travis Meeks weren't a narcissistic ass*, he could keep a band together and be a major player in todays rock scene instead of doing free concerts in downtown yuppie beer gardens. sheesh.

Chad and I are gonna test that super glue they used to put my brains back in tonight! I hope it can hold up against Nine Inch Nails and Jane's Addiction. It will be a new experience seeing Jane's Addiction sober... The first time I saw Jane's and the only time I've seen Nine was at the original Lollapalooza in 1991.... Come to think of it, that show may be the reason I have a hole in my head now.... Head Like a Hole.... lol.

I'm losing track of how long I've been here

My physical status:

I am doing as well as can be expected: I finally blew that gasket that I've been warning the kids about and someone sawed open my skull and played with my brain for a few hours. I am walking and talking, so not complaining.

My mental status:

I feel extremely fortunate to be alive. I am going absolutely nuts in this hospital. I finally got moved out of ICU yesterday, so am now able to move around more and take showers. If all goes well I will be out of here by Friday at the latest.

Well, I've concentrated and looked at this screen for as long as I can, so I will leave you with a promise to update you more as my focus returns more and more!
