8 Signs You're a Terrible Guest.....

That was the headline of an article on my News page this morning. Really? Amid all of the other things going on right now, my main concern is if I am a good party guest? This was number 8:

Enter empty-handed? It's always a good idea to bring a little something-something for the host of the soireƩ. Something simple yet budget-friendly like bath salts, chocolates, a box of stationery, or a candle will do the trick. (Target and CostPlus are two favorite places to pick up affordable and stylish goodies). Bringing a gift is the classy way of saying "thanks for having me" -- a token of appreciation.

Bring me bath salts, I'll sprinkle them on your food. If I invite you over and you bring me a box of stationery, I am going to use it to send you a request that you not visit anymore. Besides, I always thought that a cigarette was the best way to say 'Thanks for having me.'

Best way to say thanks is with a iced, 3 pump, quad shot, non fat with whip Mocha.

My sense of humor must be waning in my old age. Neither of you guys got my reference to a cigarette after "HAVING ME". I guess I need to have something checked because I actually laughed out loud while I was typing it. Oh well. At least we know I still dance to my own tune.

oh... I get it now... it's not you... it's me... really...

Seriously, when I read it I thought "does she really want me to bring her cigarettes?" (that's the way my blonde head was thinkin')

You know I would most certainly prefer the booze!
