is probably the most powerful force in the universe. The presence of it can help you accomplish great things and provide you with the tools to make even your wildest dreams come true. The lack of it can be more destructive than any hurricane. The lack of self esteem can leave your life battered on the shore. A mirror that would allow us to see ourselves as those who love us see us could mend even the most broken of hearts and reassemble the most shattered of lives. Human nature is to let the most horrible things that happen to us define who we are instead of letting those things make us stronger. There are people in my life that may not know how important they are to me and I would love to give them all that mirror that lets them see themselves through my eyes. Through my eyes, they are the world. Through my eyes, they are my survival, my life preserver. Through my eyes, they are more important than money and material things. Without them, my heart would be broken and my life would be shattered.

Elvis update....

Elvis finally called again this morning. It's been a while since I have heard from him. He said that some maniac fans caught his scent so he has had to lay low but that it has killed him not to be able to communicate with me. Said he had a nice toast to himself on the anniversary of his "passing" last week. We had a good chuckle at everyone's expense. He is still anonymously contributing to today's music scene, mostly back-up singing and a little guitar here and there. No plans right now for us to be able to see each other until Christmas at Graceland. I hope his Christmas disguise this year isn't Jesus again, the sex was awkward, to say the least.

Pineapples, Grapes and Pears - OH MY!!

This is my new JUICER. The thing is AWESOME! My favorite recipe so far is a whole fresh pineapple and a big handful of blueberries. Wow. This thing really works and the juice is delicious.

I'm not going to kill them....

Went to the grocery store. Big sale. The kind that you buy so much you stock the extra freezer in the garage. Put the groceries away. Went outside to smoke a cigarette about an hour later. Walked over to the fence to say hi to the dogs. Spike greeted me with a twice baked potato box in his mouth. Went back in the house and out to the garage to see what was up. Spike and Lake have apparently developed the ability to open the freezer. They feasted on 4 boxes of twice baked potatoes, one super size pack of lunch meat, a bag of shredded cheese and three Totino's pizzas. I hope they get the shits.

I would like to give being Brian Wilson's therapist a try. It may sound a little conceited but I think I can do better than Dr. Landy. And the bright side would be, if I fail, we can ride off together on a cloud made of Prozac that is propelled by a jam box that has 'Good Vibrations' on a loop.
